Consumer Survey

If you have an interest:1. Click on “My Dashboard.” 2.  Click on “Presentation.” 3. Look at the different styles for a journal.  4. Pick your favorite 3.5. In the “Comment” space, tell me your preferences in order, with the best as first, etc.  6. Only vote one time, please.  By Monday afternoon, I should have the style for this blog chosen from the 3 styles that get the most votes.  (So:  your votes give me 3 choices, and I pick one from there.)

Karen. Stop. Take a breath. Think to yourself, “Do I need to ask this question, or can I find the answer myself?”

Then ask: “Consumer Survey. Does this sound like it is going to be about what happened in class today?”

And think: “Are there other journal entries for today that I haven’t looked at yet?”

Finally, say to yourself, “I’m glad that I stopped and thought about this before I started posting comments about it. People would have thought I never paid attention to things! And I would hate for people to think that.”

    haha . yeah . you do have a point . i do pay attention . {at times } most of the time . but i’m not S T U P I D . hahaha . and plus i’m passing All of my classes except M A T H . and how do you do the spelling check ?

I was thinking about that. The problem we have is that I am using an Apple computer, and a web-surfing program that you probably don’t have. It’s called “Safari.” I can tell you where the spelling check is on this program. But Netscape and Microsoft Explorer may put it different places.

On the menu headings at the top of the computer screen, I have one that says “Edit.” “Spelling” is at the bottom of the list, when I click on Edit. You may need to click on all of the menu items in that top bar–File, Edit, View, etc. Sooner or later you should find something that says Spelling, or Spell-Check.

If you don’t, then check the toolbar at the top, if you have one. It’s the thing with all the buttons on it, for bold vs. regular typing. Poke at buttons until you find one that checks spelling.

Remember that a spell-checking program does NOT solve all problems. Sometimes you spell a word wrongly, and you get a _different_ word. Like using the wrong “there/their/they’re.” A spell-check will not find that mistake. And it won’t tell you when you need to put in or take out a capital letter.

So: a spell-check will catch some mistakes, but not all.

Well i use to have mozilla . it was really cool . BUT only if you knew how to use it though . some people thought it was just normal . but on pages were you hide things , you go to edit then you go to view all then you see everything . nothing is in teh format or something or and stuff like that . and you also go to go choose the skin . and stuff . and the spelling was atomatic . i know i spellt that wrong . and also like if you spellt cat wrong it would just have a red line for spelling , green line for grammer . :] . haha . but i removed it from my laptop . i thought it taking room in my laptop . i still have a bunch of room in my laptop . but then its like i don’t want to take up all of the room . Because yeahh . So i have like one of evry cool stuff . My laptop isn’t APPLE . i wish it was . My laptop brand is Sony and Vaio . or whatever . :] . but i hate it . i LOVE your laptop . its white . i love the color white . and like black is just too common .

Anyone can. So far, no one has bothered. I was just going to pick a style. Please do let me know which you like; I’ll consider it when I change this.
